I live and work in the Canadian Prairies, and love going hiking in the Rocky Mountains. I am an avid reader - as I can image many of you are. I love to cook, knit, and workout. I enjoy reading in themes or series and am in constant search of a good book. I have deep love of classics, nonfiction, and mysteries.

The Lobster and Lettuce is a dish, that is featured in one of my favorite novels - Bleak House by Charles Dickens. Lobster was considered a poor man's dish.
This blog will be reviewing books. Mostly classics, but as an avid mystery reader some contemporary novels may make an appearance. My goal is to finish my list by May 5, 2020.
What is a classic? There seems to be differing definitions. I have decided to define a classic as anything written at least 50 years ago. However, as I previously mentioned, I may review contemporary literature as well. Only time will tell.
